I was raised in a family deeply rooted in the arts. My great-grandmother was known for her exceptional crochet, knitting, and tapestry work, and every moment spent with her was filled with one of those crafts. My grandmother worked as a seamstress in the atelier of the renowned designer Mirjana Marić, the founder of the iconic textile house “Jugoeksport,” located on Francuska Street — where I practically grew up, often modeling in her fashion shows like “Beautiful Like Mom.” My mother has a golden touch for oil painting and crafting figures from various materials, while my father remains a gifted artist to this day, specializing in portraits and icons. On my mother’s side, my grandparents were respected, traditional householders whose attention to detail made even running a home an art — from tending to flowers, vineyards, gardens, and animals, to preparing food and presenting their products with care.

All of this left a lasting impression on my life. In elementary school, I stood out for my drawing skills, and for a while I took private lessons with a professor named Jozef. I participated in theater plays, commercials, worked briefly as a model, and appeared in children’s TV programs with Dragana Laković.

From age 7 to 27, I was an active member of the cultural-artistic society “Abrašević,” the most prominent folklore and dance ensemble. Thanks to this experience, I traveled the world and shaped the most important aspects of my character. At 14, I represented Serbia in Sweden as part of a global youth exchange program. By the age of 18, I was leading rehearsals for children aged 7 to 13.

At 19, I began working at “String” d.o.o., a sports company representing leading brands like Nordica, Prince, and RollerBlade in Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the course of 11 years, I experienced every aspect of the business — from retail and warehouse logistics to wholesale, accounting, HR, finance, negotiation, and event organization. Simultaneously, I spent five years as an assistant to makeup artist Jelena Maćić at fashion shows and industry events.

At 30, I became a mother and joined the family business “DM d.o.o.,” continuing a tradition of over 30 years in the field of textiles, upholstery, and curtain sales. At that time, I completed a sewing course and took six months of private lessons with an architect to further deepen my understanding of interior design styles and project interpretation.

After 12 years in the family business, I decided to found Allure Decor Design — a space where experience, artistry, and dedication to interiors come together. I believe every space should reflect elegance, warmth, and authenticity, with every detail telling the story of those who live there.

Over the past 19 years, I have shaped my own design language, combining spatial intuition, client needs, and the energy of collaboration. For me, there is no such thing as good or bad style — only the one that fits honestly and harmoniously.
